Location: Syracuse, New York

Start Date: 09-08-2026

End Date: 07-11-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, discussed in interview

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
Assist physicians with procedures such as colonoscopies and upper endoscopies
Monitor patient vital signs and sedation levels
Educate patients and families on procedure preparation and aftercare
Maintain a sterile and safe environment in the endoscopy suite
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
Minimum 1 year of endoscopy or critical care experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in EPIC EHR
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of endoscopic procedures and equipment
Ability to manage sedation and monitor patients safely
