Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate basic patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Assist patients with mobility, bathing, grooming, and toileting needs
- Monitor patients’ conditions and promptly report changes to nursing staff
- Accurately document care, observations, and any incidents in the patient record
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff and families to support individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (California) — required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to complete required orientation
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Current CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Infection control and basic safety procedures
- Accurate documentation and charting practices
- Team communication and patient-centered care
- Time management and attention to detail
