Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients, assisting with daily activities
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility and other activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Accurately document care, vital signs and observations in the patient record
• Follow infection control practices and maintain a safe, clean environment
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists and support staff to deliver team-based care

Qualifications

• Active state CNA certification (CNA or T-CNA) — must be in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Up-to-date immunizations and tuberculosis screening per facility policy
• Ability to work the scheduled shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Background check and drug screening clearance as required by the facility
• Previous experience as a CNA preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• State CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in providing ADL support and basic nursing care with empathy
• Comfortable with documentation and charting best practices
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for smooth handoffs
• Knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety principles
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during busy shifts
