Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Monitor and document patients’ vital signs and report changes promptly
Support safe mobility and transfers to reduce fall risk
Maintain a clean, comfortable environment and follow infection control protocols
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to support patient-centered plans
Complete timely and accurate documentation to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Valid CNA certification in California or ability to obtain prior to start
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Friendly, patient-focused attitude with strong communication skills
Previous experience in direct patient care or long-term care settings is a plus
Ability to pass required background checks and immunization requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic patient care, transfers, and ADL assistance
Knowledge of infection control and safe handling techniques
Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs accurately
Strong observational skills and ability to escalate concerns appropriately
Good time management and teamwork in fast-paced clinical settings
