Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living with dignity and respect
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly and accurately
Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility and toileting needs with patience and professionalism
Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and facility procedures
Document care and observations clearly so the care team can make informed decisions
Build trusting relationships with residents and families to enhance resident wellbeing

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain quickly)
Comfortable working an 8-hour clinical shift and providing hands-on care
Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completed CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing and personal care procedures
Ability to safely assist with transfers and mobility
Basic charting and documentation skills
Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
Teamwork mindset and the ability to take direction from nursing staff
