Shift Type: 12hr nights, Friday-Saturday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead the PLC team as a go-to resource and primary trainer for new staff
Coordinate seamless patient placements across Dignity Health facilities using top-notch communication
Monitor and escalate delays in patient transfers to keep everything moving smoothly
Manage RightFax, chats, and command center displays for timely and accurate operations
Complete weekly STEMI and Stroke reports plus support QA processes with valuable feedback
Assist in developing training programs and ensuring breaks for the whole team

Qualifications

Medical Assistant certification preferred (LVN considered)
BLS Certification required
2+ years in healthcare, ideally in bed placement or transfer center
Associate degree or equivalent leadership experience
Typing speed of 50 WPM without errors

Education

Associate degree or equivalent work experience demonstrating leadership

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quick learner for Google Workspace
Familiarity with Cerner, TeleTracking, and EPIC charting
Strong medical terminology and levels of care knowledge
Excellent verbal, electronic communication, and professional etiquette
Critical thinking, multi-tasking, prioritization, and detail-oriented mindset
Ability to work independently or in a team with adaptability to change
