Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for surgery with precision and care
- Deliver exceptional nursing in dynamic day surgery setting
- Collaborate with cardiovascular surgery team to save lives
- Monitor and support patients across diverse age groups
- Utilize Meditech for seamless documentation and efficiency
Qualifications
- Active RN Texas license (no temp licenses accepted)
- 2+ years of day surgery experience
- Experience with adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Education
- RN licensure with Texas state requirements
Knowledge & Skills
- Day surgery expertise
- Cardiovascular surgery proficiency
- Meditech documentation system
- Patient preparation for surgical procedures
- Strong patient experience across medical, oncology, orthopedics, neuroscience, and bariatric services
