Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to laboring patients with 1:2 ratios following AWOHNN guidelines
• Monitor high-risk deliveries using advanced fetal monitoring on the Fetal Link system
• Circulate for C-sections and support postpartum couplet care at 1:4 ratios
• Collaborate with OB techs and a dedicated charge nurse in a fast-paced 14-bed L&D unit
• Deliver exceptional support for antepartum, pre-eclampsia, and substance abuse cases
• Float to postpartum as needed while charting seamlessly in Cerner

Qualifications

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AWOHNN), NRP
• C-section circulation experience required, scrubbing preferred
• Ready to embrace night shifts and every other weekend

Education

• RN licensure required, BSN preferred but not mandatory

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in high-risk obstetrics and fetal heart monitoring
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR and Phillips telemetry
• Strong teamwork with OB techs and rapid response for deliveries
• Comfort handling diverse cases from gestational diabetes to substance abuse pregnancies
