Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 10 hour day shifts with call required (3 weekday evening/night and 3 weekend shifts per 6 weeks), every other weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care in a bustling OR handling 15-30 cases daily across ortho, neuro, and general surgeries
Collaborate with dedicated CVOR and trauma teams using Cerner and Surginet EMR
Respond to calls within 30 minutes supporting trauma surgeon and anesthesiologist
Work 1:1 ratios in 11-suite unit staffed for 6-7 daily
Utilize preference cards and partner with certified OR techs for seamless operations

Qualifications

Active RN license
2+ years of OR experience
BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS certifications
Comfort with tele and vents in acute care setting

Education

RN degree; BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in operating room procedures excluding transplants
Proficiency with Cerner and Surginet charting systems
Strong teamwork with charge RNs, CSTs, and 24/7 RT and pharmacy support
Familiarity with high-acuity cases in ortho, neuro, general, CVOR, and trauma
