Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour evening shifts starting 11:00 AM, 36 hours per week, including 4 weekend shifts per month at unit discretion

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert emergency care to trauma patients in a high-volume Level 1 ER
Manage 1:4 ratios while prioritizing patient safety and rapid response
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, RTs, and pharmacists
Master sterile procedures like Foley insertions and central line care in SIMs lab
Float seamlessly between nearby facilities to support the team where needed most
Handle diverse cases from burns and psych holds to spinal cord injuries

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2 years of ER experience including 6 months in Trauma Level 1
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (ENPC not accepted)
Preferred: TNCC and ATCN certifications
Competence in sterile field maintenance and Cerner charting
Reliable transportation for floating between sites
Natural hair color, no facial piercings, clean-shaven for men (fit test ready)

Education

BSN preferred, RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in reading Phillips tele strips
Experienced with high-acuity ER workflows and trauma bays
Skilled in emergency interventions for 250-300 daily patients
Comfortable with psych holds and rapid assessments
