Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and craft personalized treatment plans
Deliver opiate addiction counseling and individual sessions to guide recovery
Coordinate care with treatment teams and community agencies for holistic support
Provide crisis intervention and monitor patient progress for optimal outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation and advocate for patient needs

Qualifications

Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) in North Carolina required
Experience working with opiate-addicted populations
Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Skills in assessments using ASI criteria, treatment planning, service coordination, and crisis intervention

Education

State Certification/Licensure as LCAS for North Carolina

Knowledge & Skills

Deep understanding of community drug trends and addiction effects
Knowledge of opioid overdose signs, psychosocial impacts, and recovery processes
Familiarity with social, economic, legal, medical systems, and HIV implications
Strong ability to handle stress and interact positively with teams and patients
