Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM with on call one night every 2 weeks and one weekend every 6 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert care in open heart surgeries within a bustling OR setting
Collaborate seamlessly with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Masterfully utilize EPIC system for precise documentation and workflow
Respond confidently during on-call shifts to support critical procedures

Qualifications

Active RN license verified via Nursys
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and DCI/BVP certifications
Successful completion of Prime pharmacology, rhythm interpretation, specialty, core competencies exams, and skills checklist

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Proven OR experience especially in open heart procedures
Strong proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume surgical environments
On-call responsiveness with solid clinical judgment
