Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, weekend requirement based on unit needs

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care to PCU patients including those with CVA, STEMI, CHF, and respiratory issues
Monitor tele strips and manage critical drips like heparin, amiodarone, and dopamine
Float confidently to support PCU patients across multiple floors
Collaborate with a cohesive team, hospitalists, intensivists, and support staff 24/7
Provide charge nurse duties at no extra hassle while welcoming high patient turnover
Make a real difference in a busy unit that values every team member

Qualifications

Active WA or Compact RN License
2+ years of recent PCU or Stepdown experience
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
EPIC charting proficiency
CAPD experience is a fantastic plus but not required

Education

RN licensure required, BSN preferred but not mandatory

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in PCU nursing with drips, tele monitoring, and acute conditions
Strong floating skills across units
Comfort reading tele strips with remote tech support
Team player mindset in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment
