Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in a dynamic correctional facility setting
- Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures and treatments
- Manage patient intake, vitals, and documentation with precision and empathy
- Support medication administration and inventory management
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and positive outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification or equivalent licensure
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Hands-on experience in a clinical or medical office environment
- Strong commitment to patient safety and confidentiality
Education
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent phlebotomy and EKG skills
- Top-notch communication and interpersonal abilities
- Reliable multitasking in fast-paced settings
