Roles & Responsibilities

• Capture stunning two and three-dimensional ultrasonic images and Doppler flow analyses to empower physicians in diagnosing heart conditions
• Deliver top-tier echocardiographic exams including M-mode, transesophageal, and stress echoes with clinical precision
• Provide compassionate emotional support and ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
• Maintain cutting-edge equipment and workspaces for flawless performance
• Spot arrhythmias on EKGs and take swift action to notify physicians when needed
• Document everything meticulously in patient records with near-perfect accuracy
• Educate patients and families on procedures to ease their concerns and build trust

Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program with education verification

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in adult echo, stress echo, TEE, and call coverage with some pediatric experience
• Proficient in echocardiograms, Doppler flow analyses, M-mode, 2D/3D imaging per ASE standards
• Skilled in recognizing EKGs for arrhythmias, acute MI, heart blocks, and abnormal rhythms
• Strong patient assessment, equipment maintenance, and emergency response abilities
