Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist residents with daily living activities
Monitor and document patient conditions and report changes to nursing staff promptly
Support safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning with proper body mechanics
Help maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients and families
Collaborate with the care team to follow care plans and deliver consistent, high-quality care
Demonstrate professionalism and empathy while interacting with patients and colleagues

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing (required)
Active CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a team
Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care techniques and infection control practices
Skill in safe patient handling and mobility support
Ability to accurately chart and document patient observations
Customer-service oriented approach to resident and family interactions
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care setting
