Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the night shift
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per policy
Perform regular patient assessments and monitor vital signs for changes
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the care team to coordinate care
Maintain clear, timely, and accurate clinical documentation in the EMR
Support patient safety, comfort, and dignity during admissions and overnight care
Respond effectively to urgent situations and escalate concerns appropriately

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license valid in West Virginia (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Able to work overnight hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) and perform clinical duties independently
Willingness to complete facility onboarding requirements: background check, immunizations, and training
Local candidate or within commuting distance — local-only position

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
Active LPN licensure in West Virginia

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Comfortable with EMR charting and electronic documentation
Good communication and teamwork skills across interdisciplinary teams
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
Basic wound care and nursing procedures commonly performed by LPNs
