Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting comfort and dignity
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Help with safe transfers, positioning, and mobility assistance
Maintain clear, timely documentation of resident care and observations
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
Communicate respectfully with residents and families to support their needs
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver consistent care

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — Pennsylvania preferred or willing to obtain
Current basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Demonstrated experience in long-term care, assisted living, or similar preferred
Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude toward residents
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
Accurate vital sign measurement and documentation
Basic infection control and safety practices
Comfortable with resident transfers and mobility assistance
Teamwork, time management, and clear communication
Familiarity with electronic charting and basic bedside documentation
