Roles & Responsibilities

• Triage and assess patients of all ages quickly and accurately in a 15-bed emergency setting plus a 6-bed fast track
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to protocols
• Stabilize and manage acute conditions, calling on team resources as needed
• Provide compassionate patient and family education during high-stress moments
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly and promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and ancillary staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain unit safety standards

Qualifications

• Current Hawaii RN license (required)
• Registered Nurse (RN) credential
• Experience in emergency nursing or demonstrated comfort in fast-paced acute care environments (preferred)
• Ability to care for all ages and populations, from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset

• Proficient clinical documentation and care planning
• Calm, decisive action during crises and emergencies
• Familiarity with ED workflows and fast track processes
