Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
• Perform thorough assessments and timely documentation in the patient record
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and escalate concerns
• Monitor telemetry and recognize changes in clinical status quickly
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and safe transitions

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in California (or compact RN where applicable)
• BLS required; ACLS and other specialty certifications preferred
• Comfortable working 12-hour overnight shifts and providing hands-on patient care
• Experience in med-surg/telemetry or MST-prepared nursing practice is a plus
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Proficient with medication administration and IV therapy
• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation experience
• Skilled in bedside documentation and electronic health record navigation
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management abilities
