Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and bedside support to meet individual needs
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely following facility protocols
Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
Document patient care, interventions and outcomes clearly in the medical record
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, high-quality care
Educate patients and families on care plans, medications and discharge instructions
Support quality improvement efforts and maintain infection control standards

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — New Mexico license required
Minimum clinical experience as an LPN (specific years not provided in posting)
Ability to work the scheduled shift: Tuesday through Thursday, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Local candidates only as noted in the order
CPR/BLS certification preferred or as required by facility

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment abilities and vital signs monitoring
Safe medication administration and documentation practices
Comfortable with electronic health record documentation
Clear communication with patients, families and clinical teams
Good time management and prioritization during long shifts
