Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Night shifts, 12.5-hour overnight shifts (exact start/end times vary; nights)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist patients with mobility, transfers and safe positioning
Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support the nursing team by preparing rooms and maintaining a safe environment
Document care and observations in the patient record with clarity
Communicate effectively with patients, families and interdisciplinary staff
Participate in team huddles and contribute to a positive work culture

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Georgia or ability to obtain state certification
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Comfort and experience working overnight shifts
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-focused attitude
Ability to perform physical aspects of the role (lifting, standing, assisting patients)

Education

High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and infection control practices
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
Assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Basic charting and familiarity with electronic health records
Time management and prioritization on busy shifts
Clear verbal and written communication with the care team
