Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Monitor and record vital signs and resident conditions accurately to support care planning
• Assist with safe mobility, transfers and positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
• Document observations and care provided clearly and timely in the chart or EMR
• Communicate effectively with nurses, families and interdisciplinary team members about resident needs
• Support infection prevention practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Respond promptly to resident calls and urgent needs while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification valid in VT or NH
• Comfortable working the listed night shifts (Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights)
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing or rehab settings is a plus
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to resident-centered care

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program and current LNA certification for VT or NH

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong resident care and ADL support skills
• Proficiency with taking and recording vital signs
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Teamwork and collaboration in a clinical setting
• Basic infection control and safety practices
• Compassionate bedside manner and situational awareness
