Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift, schedule to be determined (exact start/end times and days will be provided during scheduling)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Support patient comfort and safety while following established care plans
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility to promote dignity and independence
Maintain accurate documentation of care and observations according to facility policies
Collaborate with the care team to deliver consistent, high-quality patient care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania
Valid CPR certification as required by the facility
Willingness to complete facility-required screenings such as TB test and background check
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Prior experience in long term care or skilled nursing is preferred but new grads with training are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
Basic vital signs and charting skills
Infection prevention and proper use of PPE
Safe transfer and mobility techniques
Effective communication with residents, families, and clinical staff
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care setting
