Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed (schedule to be provided by facility)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Help with safe transfers, mobility support, and positioning to promote comfort and dignity
Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Support mealtime assistance and ensure residents receive food and fluids as prescribed
Collaborate with team members to create a positive, respectful atmosphere for residents and families

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the state of Pennsylvania
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Strong interpersonal skills and a caring attitude toward resident-centered care
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but new grads welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic patient care and ADL assistance
Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
Able to document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
Comfortable with safe transfer techniques and mobility assistance
Reliable, punctual, and committed to resident dignity and privacy
