Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to residents, supporting dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
Help with safe transfers and mobility support, using proper body mechanics
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Document resident care accurately and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (facility follows Pennsylvania state requirements)
Active CPR/BLS certification preferred
Comfort working in a long-term care setting and providing hands-on resident care
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative care team
Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality patient care

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of ADLs and basic patient care procedures
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Infection prevention and control practices
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Compassionate bedside manner and good verbal communication
Teamwork, time management, and attention to detail
