Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-centered direct care that enhances daily quality of life
Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
Monitor and record vital signs and resident status accurately and promptly
Communicate resident changes and concerns clearly to the nursing team
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Support social and emotional needs through meaningful interaction and companionship
Follow infection control practices and facility policies to protect residents and staff

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
Ability to pass background checks and any required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a kind, patient-focused attitude
Ability to safely assist and transfer residents (lift/assist capability)
Previous long-term care or nursing home experience is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an approved CNA program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic nursing care and patient hygiene practices
Infection prevention and control procedures
Accurate documentation and charting skills
Resident mobility and safe transfer techniques
Teamwork, time management, and clear communication
