Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct resident care, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and report changes in resident status to the nursing team
- Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
- Support a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to enhance resident wellbeing
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (required)
- Valid authorization to work in Pennsylvania and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
- Comfort working 12-hour shifts and delivering hands-on resident care
- Strong communication skills and a patient, respectful bedside manner
- Able to pass background checks and any required health screenings
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in ADLs: bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance
- Basic familiarity with infection control and safe body mechanics
- Observation skills for recognizing changes in resident condition
- Teamwork and time management in a fast-paced caregiving environment
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to long-term care
