Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and support daily living activities
Assist nursing staff with vital signs, hygiene, mobility, and feeding
Observe and report changes in patient condition to the care team promptly
Maintain accurate documentation of care and patient interactions
Support a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients and families
Work collaboratively with nurses and support staff to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in the state of Pennsylvania (or eligible to obtain)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated ability to provide safe, compassionate patient care
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or related setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, infection control practices
Patient positioning, safe transfer and mobility assistance
Observational skills to notice changes and escalate appropriately
Good time management and documentation skills
Ability to follow care plans and direction from licensed nurses
