Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
- Assist with safe transfers, ambulation and positioning to promote mobility and prevent injury
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
- Support a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families and fellow team members to coordinate excellent care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — Pennsylvania certification preferred
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Hands-on patient care experience or clinical training preferred
- Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented with strong communication skills
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completed accredited CNA training program and active certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in assisting with ADLs and basic patient care
- Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
- Basic charting and documentation skills (paper or electronic systems)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
