Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility while preserving dignity
Monitor and record vital signs, behaviors and any changes in condition
Communicate observations clearly and promptly to the nursing team and supervisors
Support safe transfers and use proper lifting and positioning techniques
Maintain a clean, safe and therapeutic environment for residents
Build trusting relationships with residents and families, delivering person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with ADLs and mobility support
Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs and observations
Knowledge of infection control and proper use of PPE
Basic familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
Teamwork, time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
