Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Assist residents with mobility, transfers, dressing, grooming, and bathing
Monitor, record, and report vital signs and changes in patient condition
Support the care team by maintaining accurate documentation and following care plans
Practice infection control and safe patient handling to keep everyone safe
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff to promote great outcomes

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, TB test, and required immunizations
Compassionate, dependable, and able to work well in a team
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, new grads welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED; CNA state certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Patient hygiene, ADLs, and safe transfer techniques
Taking and recording vital signs accurately
Infection control practices and PPE use
Basic documentation and charting skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans and directions from nursing staff
