Roles & Responsibilities

Provide attentive, hands-on patient care and daily living assistance
Assist nursing staff with vital signs, mobility, and basic clinical tasks
Maintain accurate documentation of patient observations and activities
Support infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
Contribute to a positive patient experience through kindness and professionalism

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the state of California (required)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Comfortable providing direct patient care and assisting with mobility
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Previous experience in a clinical or long-term care setting is a plus, but new CNAs are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: taking vitals, patient transfers, ADL assistance
Familiarity with infection prevention and standard precautions
Comfortable with electronic charting or willingness to learn
Strong observational skills and the ability to report changes in condition
Teamwork mindset and reliability in a fast-paced healthcare setting
