Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting with dignity and respect
Support patient mobility and safe transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Take and record vital signs accurately and consistently
Provide compassionate bedside care and emotional support to patients and families
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
Document care activities clearly and communicate effectively with team members
Participate in orientation and training to continuously improve skills

Qualifications

Current California CNA certification in good standing
Basic CPR/BLS certification preferred or able to obtain upon hire
Ability to pass background checks and health screenings as required by the facility
Demonstrated compassion, strong communication skills, and a team-first attitude
Reliable attendance and the ability to work the scheduled shifts

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Current CNA certification (California)

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and infection control practices
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Strong observational skills to notice and report patient changes
Good documentation and basic charting skills
Comfortable with safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Effective communication and teamwork with nursing staff and allied professionals
