Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients including assistance with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition promptly
Support patient hygiene, mobility, and comfort while preserving dignity
Document care accurately and communicate clearly with nurses and interdisciplinary team members
Help maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for patients and visitors
Build trusting relationships with patients and families through empathy and professionalism

Qualifications

Active/valid CNA certification (Georgia preferred or ability to obtain state certification)
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Passion for patient care, strong communication skills, and a team-first attitude
Ability to complete required immunizations and background checks as part of onboarding
Reliable attendance and ability to perform physical aspects of the role

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and infection control practices
Basic charting and documentation skills
Ability to take vital signs and observe/report changes
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
