Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Help patients with bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility in a respectful way
Take and report vital signs and observe patients for changes in condition
Document care accurately and communicate clearly with nurses and the care team
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Participate in orientation and ongoing training to continuously improve skills

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required) — must meet California requirements
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Comfortable working in a fast-paced care setting with strong teamwork skills
Ability to pass background check and required screenings

Education

CNA certification (required)
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of basic patient care techniques and infection control
Ability to measure and record vital signs accurately
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families
Basic documentation skills and the ability to follow care plans
Dependable, punctual, and able to follow direction from nursing staff
