Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to patients with dignity and respect
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics to prevent injuries
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and communicate clearly with interdisciplinary team members
• Help create a comfortable, clean, and safe environment for patients and visitors
• Participate in patient observations and follow care plans to contribute to positive outcomes

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Current state-required CNA licensure or certification for Georgia
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
• Previous experience in long-term care, acute care, or similar setting is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and infection control practices
• Ability to safely assist with patient mobility and transfers
• Comfortable with charting and basic clinical documentation
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a care team
• Time management and prioritization during busy shift periods
