Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
Monitor and record vital signs and communicate changes to the nursing team
Support safe mobility and assist with transfers while following proper body mechanics
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and resident records
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
Collaborate with nurses and care team members to deliver personalized care plans
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through clear, respectful communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Active/eligible to hold CNA certification in Pennsylvania
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by facility
Comfortable with physical aspects of the role (lifting, standing, assisting patients)
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED and completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient-centered care and safe transfer techniques
Basic monitoring of vital signs and recognizing changes in condition
Infection prevention and control practices
Clear communication with patients, families, and clinical staff
Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks during a shift
