Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care including bathing, dressing, and hygiene assistance
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
Support feeding and nutritional needs and monitor intake as directed
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate observations clearly during handoffs
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent patient care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (state-required) or eligibility to obtain one in Georgia
Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment and standing for extended periods
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of basic patient care techniques and vital sign monitoring
Familiarity with infection control practices and patient safety standards
Good charting and documentation skills; ability to follow care plans
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with patients and staff
Basic familiarity with electronic medical records is a plus
