Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, promoting dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
Monitor and document resident conditions, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
Support mobility and safe patient transfers using proper techniques
Collaborate with the care team to deliver individualized resident care plans
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (must be active and in good standing)
High school diploma or GED preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is helpful
Clear background check and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
Reliable, compassionate, and a team player with strong communication skills

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable with personal care tasks and resident mobility assistance
Good observational skills for noticing changes in resident condition
Familiarity with documentation practices and basic charting
Ability to follow care plans and directions from licensed nursing staff
Strong interpersonal skills and a calm bedside manner
