Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient status accurately
- Assist the nursing team with safe transfers, positioning, and ambulation
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate changes to the care team
- Follow infection control protocols and ensure a clean, safe patient environment
- Support patients and families with empathy, respect, and professionalism
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (listed as core skill for this role)
- Current authorization to practice as a CNA in Georgia or eligibility to obtain state authorization
- Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts (posting specifies 12.5 total hours)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to complete facility-required onboarding, background checks, and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED (common baseline for CNA roles)
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and basic clinical skills
- Ability to take and record vitals accurately
- Familiarity with patient safety and infection prevention practices
- Good documentation habits and clear communication
- Team-oriented mindset and dependable work ethic
