Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate basic patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Assist patients with mobility, bathing, grooming, and toileting needs
Monitor patients’ conditions and promptly report changes to nursing staff
Accurately document care, observations, and any incidents in the patient record
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Collaborate with nursing staff and families to support individualized care plans

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (California) — required
High school diploma or GED preferred
BLS/CPR certification preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to complete required orientation

Education

High school diploma or GED
Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Infection control and basic safety procedures
Accurate documentation and charting practices
Team communication and patient-centered care
Time management and attention to detail
