Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends (4 weekend shifts in 4 weeks)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver critical care to trauma, stroke and STEMI patients in a fast-paced 35-bed ED
Manage moderate sedation procedures with precision and confidence
Collaborate with a dynamic team of RNs, techs and specialists
Maintain 3:1 or 4:1 patient ratios for quality focused care
Utilize Meditech EMR to document life-saving interventions

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience, 2 years preferred
BLS certification required, ACLS, TNCC and ENPC strongly preferred
High-energy personality that thrives in busy environments

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in trauma and stroke patient management
Proficiency with moderate sedation protocols
Strong teamwork in high-pressure ED settings
Comfortable with Meditech electronic medical records
