Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehab
Location: Atlantis, Florida
Start Date: 05-18-2026
End Date: 08-17-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Day shifts, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, varied hours including weekends and holiday rotation
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional inpatient physical therapy to orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic and med/surg patients
- Utilize cutting-edge equipment like treadmills, exercise bikes and resistance bands to create personalized rehab plans
- Collaborate with a dynamic team of therapists and assistants in a 42-bed IP Rehab unit
- Document progress using Meditech EMR to track meaningful patient outcomes
- Adapt treatments based on surgical volume to optimize recovery journeys
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy license
- BLS certification
- At least 1 year of recent hospital acute care, IP Rehab or SNF experience
- DPT preferred for those ready to take their career to the next level
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in inpatient rehab techniques
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking
- Team collaboration and compassionate care
- Excellent time management in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR and rehab equipment
