Respiratory Therapist - Critical Care
Location: Ocala, Florida
Start Date: 01-05-2026
End Date: 04-06-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver critical respiratory care to patients across the hospital
- Manage advanced ventilation systems like GE R869 vents and V60 BiPAP
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document care precisely using Meditech system
- Respond swiftly in high-acuity critical care and trauma scenarios
- Support hospital-wide respiratory needs with skill and compassion
Qualifications
- Active RRT license
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Critical care experience essential, trauma experience a plus
Education
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy
- RRT credential from accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in critical care respiratory therapy
- Proficiency with GE R869 ventilators and V60 BiPAP
- Strong trauma care background preferred
- Comfortable in fast-paced hospital environments
- Meditech documentation skills
