Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, AM and PM shifts with rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate antepartum and postpartum care to new moms and babies
Monitor patients closely with patient ratios of 3:1 or 4:1
Perform non-stress tests, manage hyperemesis, insulin and heparin drips
Administer magnesium and support high-acuity cases
Collaborate with a teamwork-oriented staff in a 24-bed unit
Utilize Meditech and CPN EMR systems to deliver top-notch care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of experience
BLS certification required
Teamwork-oriented with excellent communication skills

Education

RN degree from accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in postpartum and antepartum nursing
Proficiency with L/D experience preferred
Skilled in managing drips and high-acuity maternal care
Comfortable in fast-paced 3:1 patient ratios
Strong EMR skills with Meditech and CPN
