Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to med-surg patients including ortho and kidney transplant cases
Manage central lines, Foley catheters, and IV therapies with precision
Support patients with cardiac, renal, dialysis, pulmonary, GI, and diabetes needs
Collaborate with a tenured team using Meditech EMR and advanced equipment like Wound VAC and PCA pumps
Contribute to a fast-paced environment where your critical thinking makes a real difference

Qualifications

Active LVN license
At least 1 year of experience
BCLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
Strong critical thinking skills
Texas license or compact state eligibility a plus

Education

Completion of accredited LVN/LPN program

Knowledge & Skills

IV skills and central line management
Ortho and kidney transplant care expertise
Experience with cardiac, dialysis, pulmonary, GI, and DM patients
Proficiency with feeding pumps, lift equipment, and oxygen therapy
Adaptability in a fast-paced, diverse care setting
