Shift Type: Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends (2 per pay period)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms with precision to keep patients safe
Deliver compassionate care to post-cardiac cath lab, stroke and COVID patients
Collaborate with a tight-knit team of 41 staff members in a 24-bed unit
Utilize GE remote telemetry and Meditech EMR to provide top-notch care
Participate in bedside shift reports and unit huddles to ensure seamless communication

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 1 year of experience
ACLS certification required
Competency in interpreting rhythms is a must
Texas or compact state RN license preferred

Education

RN degree from accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry expertise
Rhythm interpretation proficiency
Familiarity with GE remote telemetry and Meditech EMR
Patient ratios of 1:5 for focused care
Team player mindset with sense of urgency
