Physical Therapist - IP Rehab
Location: Atlantis, Florida
Start Date: 05-18-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Day shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, varied days including weekends and holiday rotation
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional inpatient physical therapy to orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic and med/surg patients
- Utilize cutting-edge equipment like treadmills, exercise bikes and resistance bands to maximize patient recovery
- Collaborate with a dynamic team of therapists and assistants in a 42-bed IP Rehab unit
- Document progress using Meditech EMR to ensure seamless care continuity
- Adapt treatments to patient volume and needs for truly impactful outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy license
- BLS certification
- At least 1-2 years of hospital acute care, IP Rehab or SNF experience
- Ability to thrive in varied day shift hours including weekends
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Hospital acute care expertise
- IP Rehab and SNF experience
- Critical thinking and compassionate patient care
- Excellent time management and team collaboration
- Technological proficiency with EMR systems like Meditech
