Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate labor and delivery care, supporting mothers through cervical ripening, inductions, and high-risk cases
• Deliver expert postpartum mother-baby care, ensuring safe couplet bonding and recovery
• Monitor and care for newborns in the special care nursery, including transition and baby catching
• Assist with C-sections, tubal ligations, and cerclage removals while maintaining fetal monitoring
• Manage high-acuity patients with MgSO4, insulin drips, and Level II maternal care
• Foster a positive family-like unit culture, jumping in proactively to make a real difference

Qualifications

• Active RN license with at least 1 year of recent Labor or Postpartum experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
• Preferred: STABLE, LDRP experience, NICU or special care nursery background
• Positive, friendly attitude with a proactive team player spirit

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in GE Fetal Monitors, Alaris Pumps, and Giraffe Warmers
• Proficient with EMR systems like GE Centricity/CPN and Meditech
• Experienced in high-risk labor support, infant care, and C-section procedures
• Strong patient ratios knowledge: 1:2 labor, 1:3-4 couplets
